No, at the time of the song, MC Hammer was talking about album sales. Eminem had 8 times plantinum sales and MC Hammer had 10 times platinum sales (Diamond status). MC Hammer cleverly related it to the movie Eight Mile. Which is why he said that Eminem had 2 more to go. Eminem should be close to or at platinum sales by now.
