"Colorless" - MLK Tribute

A tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. "Colorless"

Martin Luther King Jr. was a famous leader of the american civil rights movement, a political activist and a baptist minister. Born January 15th, 1929 in Atlanta. He had to attend segregated public schools in Georgia where he skipped 9th and 12th grade. He graduated and started college at age 15. In 1955 he graduated from Boston university with a doctorate of philosophy. That same year he joined Rosa park's bus Boycott. Between 1957 and 1968 Dr. King traveled over 6 million miles and spoke over 2,500 times. He directed the peaceful march on washington DC of 250,000 people to whom he delivered his famous "I have a dream" speech. On april 4th 1968 he was assasinated in Memphis, Tennessee, but Dr. King's legacy still lives on. We can now live in a colorless society where people are not judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
