I'm claustrophobic but i had some good prayer sessions at church and that helped. I also used a blindfold and headphones while in the machine didn't even panic.God is good.

I had an mri scan this evening and I tell you listening to your radiologyst is the best thing you will ever do for yourself. I am also clausterphobic and as I discovered this evening, a little moreso than I thought. At first I panicked but she quickly calmed me down and told me the best way to avoid that panic feeling is to enter with my eyes covered or closed. Once in place not to move, but you can look back and see out of the other end of the machine so you dont feel caged in. Really worked!

I have MRI's every year, and I just take Addivan and I'm fine.

i suffer with claustrophobia i had an MRI san the other day and braved it out the nurse told me i was going to be in that thing for 20 minutes i thought wtf i managed to have it but i swear if i had of gone in any further i would have hit the panic button my heart started to beat faster being in a confined space for that long is scary
