  • @VidViewer333 i just learned of that book today and plan to start reading it soon. what were your thoughts after finishing it?

  • fantastic, thank you for this post. i just learned of her book "The Rapture Exposed: The Message of Hope in the Book of Revelation" and plan to read it soon. Her description of the way these beliefs can cripple people w baseless and useless fear is unfortunately very true in some cases.

  • thank you what ever ur name is sweetheart im so glad that finally a christian on you tube has got a brain................this rapture shit was really beginning to annoy me......keep it simple stupid christians............if you deluded beliefs defy the laws of physics then its a load of bullshit

  • Satan was cast out, and can't find a way back into heaven. Jesus can't save us if we have the mark of the beast. If people have the mark , and taken into heaven , satan will find a way back into the kingdom by tracking a persons location using RFID or ( mark of the beast)!

  • Thank God for smart, intelligent People like Dr. Barbara Rossing.

  • Santa Christ, save me!

  • This does danger to those who don't read the Scriptures. There is no rapture, no one is going anywhere, they are all gonna be right here when the great tribulation of the antichrist comes about. And is extremely dangerous when a rapture believing church takes a passage violently out of context to support their false doctrine. CHRISTIAN BEWARE! For the antichrist comes first, then the true Messiah will come. Put on the full armor of Christ and prepare for spiritual battle.

  • This lady is right in a lot that she is saying, but John Darby didn't create the false rapture doctrine. He definitely popularized it, but he didn't create it. A lady named Margaret MacDonald in the year 1830 had "visions" and "revelations" of this so called rapture that was to happen. Well what else happened in 1830? Joseph Smith had visions that would later become mormonism as well as a one lady having visions of the virgin Mary saying to use holy water, and to wear graven images etc...

  • @zobcity01

The usual text is the reference to Rev.12, where the dragon goes after "the rest of [the woman's] offspring" - that's the tribulation period. I think the 7 years are from Daniel. The whole thing is put together as a patchwork of texts from the Daniel, Revelation, the gospels, Ezekiel 38-39.

Dispensationalism, in all its versions, is Sci-Fi for Fundamentalists, IMO

  • I have asked the pretrib rupturites to give scriptures on the supposed biblical context of "seven years tribulation" they say i ssupposedly in the word yet not one anywhere has baan able to because it's a heresy like the P.T.R philosophy is.
