  • ☀ Brandon Flowers wrote this song about his parents falling in love, but then everything falling apart. "Now Cinderella don't you go to sleep"--this is Brandon telling his mom not to give up on life, especially after she was diagnosed with cancer.

☀ I mean, right now I could be listening to some great "shawty shawty lemme f*** you" sorta rap...... but I don't want to.

☀ Thumbs up for music that has meaning. You know, a message.

  • @thingthing4able SAME HERE ^.^

  • I have been a killers supporter since like 1st grade. I literally love them. they aren't just a band. their songs actually have a meaning.

  • This is about avoiding bad things/fears and imagining good things

  • "In the cadence of a young man's eyes," songwriting at its best

  • @crockalotadizero *love chinese dick

  • @shurporka cool story bro

  • i live chinese dick

  • Read it as a Mormon, and alot of the references make much more sense. The revelation-based change his dad went through when he was converted and joined the LDS Church, as well as the references to kingdom under siege and the reality of Satan in the many ways he discourages us in times of trial. Cool song, makes me tear up every time.

  • outro... he he he I believe it's 'ending'
