I agree with the current rule change being touted. If a referee suspects a hand ball, he asks the player concerned, if he denies it and subsequent video shows he did. Then he is given a hefty match suspension and his club is fined.

the fucking honor system? why not have an extra ref or actually have refs who can make good calls???? why is this so hard???

@donleomarin: first of all, ireland should have beaten france because we had the oppurtunities throughout the second leg... secondly we drew both games against italy in the group stages and we should have beaten them at croke park but gilardino snatched an equiliser last minute. Those two teams were in the final 2006 so i think we would be doing better than most IF we got to the world cup.

seriously, its pretty obvious messi is heading for legendary status. who cares about baseball? honestly i dont consider it a sport, i do agree with u on the steroid scandals thoe. but the reality is there will always be cheaters, so just give up and enjoy the controversy. the world would be dull without it. ciao
