Microsoft Ad Campaign: My Thoughts (Part 1)

As we all know, Microsoft is trying a new ad campaign. Here is what I think about it. The video is 2 parts long.

And notice how quickly Apple came back more new mac ads.

Why wouldn't they? Why be like Microsoft, who let Apple get a huge lead in commercials? When the competition says something, you answer back. Not to mention the MS commercials have nothing to do with Windows. They don't even advertise Windows, they advertise HP laptops.

Well the thing is, not everyone needs a Mac. People that just want to surf and check email should not get a mac. But people that like to edit video and design websites, etc will gladly pay the extra price for a Mac. Let's face it- the Mac has higher quality software. However, not everyone needs to pay for it.

O come on, name me one piece of software that's better then photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. In my experience Adobe products crash more often on Macs than PCs. Avid Media Compser & Adobe Premiere Pro are on par, and IMO, better then Final Cut Pro. Not to mention After Effects.

I've had Photoshop CS3 installed on the MacBook since I've had it and it hasn't crashed once. And when you buy a Mac, you get iMovie, iPhoto, etc etc. While there are applications like these for Windows, they don't come pre-installed (you have to buy them, adding to the cost of your computer), and they just aren't as clean. Mac applications are so polished. It's part of the Mac experience.

at an ad, microsoft literally published this = billions of people around the world use the same computer (windows), think different.

But what ever... I'm not gonna argue about what operating system is better than the other.

W/e I think Micrsoft is da shiznet. Why? We have all the stuff most mac users don't. Do you have Crysis? My thoughts.

MAC's=CREATION

Not really. Computers have similar parts, but Apple has their own operating system, and Microsoft has theirs. And a computer is nothing without an operating system. And in my experience, OSX is just so much better. Some people don't care, but people that do serious things on computers need a better os.
