You know, not everyone has to be an extreme. No, we don't all need to drive hybrid cars and wearing nothing but hemp. Yes, renewable resources are better for the environment, and economically beneficial in the long run.

Even if you don't believe ice caps are melting, there's no logical reason not to invest in resources other than coal/oil.

The technology exists, and is only being held back so the oil companies can turn a profit. That costs everyone money.

At the end-Permian extinction greenhouse gases were well over 20 times what they are now for each individual gas. So in other words, over 20 times the Carbon Dioxide, 20 times the Carbon Monoxide, 20 times the Methane, etc.

what is this a bunch of hippies? has no one seen results form Copenhagen? like all the studies showing we really arent doing anything to the overall atmosphere... seriously, anyone who is ignorant enough to think that we have that ability is a dumbass. Im all for moving away from foreign oil and unsafe jobs. But no matter what there will be dangerous jobs, and there will be pollution.
