Take a ride onboard 1161, a 2004 New Flyer D60LF operated by St.Catharines Transit seen in action on route 16 Glenridge-Brock as it leaves the downtown area and travels along Glenridge Avenue on its way to Brock University. This bus is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR with an Allison B500R transmission.

  • Man I miss the those buses. I actually specifically remember riding 6334 on the 118, and the 118 is quite similar to this route in terms of speed and stopping.

  • @Breeze646 oh interesting, i havent been to Ottawa yet lol. we also have 6328 (now 1162) and 6339 (now 1160) and they will last quite a bit as they won't run year-round

  • How do you like the bus?

  • @octranspo9137 its pretty awesome, it really hauls ass. this is also the first time i rode a 60-footer since 1991 when we had the Orion III demo.
