If you use any kind drop tuning you should put the bar towards the bridge. Horus's are also made of mahogany and in this video it sound damn good with the bar towards the neck. So in standard tuning it should sound badass which ever way you put it.

I am really interested in buying a D-Sonic for my Les Paul, but I can't decide which direction I would face it. At first I thought I should have the polls towards the bridge but Les Paul's are naturally a lot deeper sounding then super strats so maybe the other way would sound better. What would you recommend from your experience with the pup?

So you must be from near Epoo. I just recently moved to town from googling that name it game such hits as christian tms. so, I do think he has the skills but christian metal... not my stuff.
