Eegee's song is one of my favorite songs in this movie. Too bad it's so short!

The scene where Shando goes blind haunted me for years (along with the song). Such a sad part!

This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. Now I'd like to share it with you all. Enjoy!

I remember being disturbed by this whole bit as a kid, but now that I know so many blind people, I find it a bit...pointless. XP

I like it more in croatian version... Songs were in english, but when they talk then was croatian.... :)

@AmiAmorada It was in the VHS version. I have that version, but left it at my parent's house.

@AnonGirl88 I have to agree with your thought on that. He definitely changed after that point. It's a shame the newer release I have cut that scene out. I guess it made it quicker to watch and a better pace for small children, but still disappointing to lose it.

@DarkGaarafan17 As with you and BugFolk have I too ended up with the edited version (on VHS, not on DVD), and I got it at a library sale around two years ago. It came from a distributor for movies used for family discussion. When I watched I too became upset with certain scenes taken out including the part where Shando goes blind, but I also remember that for a second his eyes fade into pitch black and here it was taken out. Now that's one little scene missing from this version!

@DarkGaarafan17 I too ended up with the newer version and missed that scene and I also missed the one where they explained what that brown little bump really was and how it came to existence. That scene has also always made me wonder. I just wonder if there is a DVD version with all the scenes included?

I had the old vhs tape and lost it, got a new one and it's not this version! Made me so upset, because the scene when he goes blind was always my favorite, it's so emotional D':
