What are the best settings for taking really high quality waterdrop pictures like the ones in this video? I also have the Nikon D3000 and I'm shooting with a Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 DG APO macro/telephoto zoom lens. I also have the 18-55 mm Nikkor lens that came with the camera.

@jwemt81 I used the 18-55 kit lens... And i think i was at F11 for a good depth of field.. Use an off camera flash to freeze the motion... at its max synch speed... think its 1/200 sec on the D3000.. i also used an remote to trigger the camera and flash... and you'll have to take alot of pictures to capture the right moment.. You can go check out a guy named Gavin Hoye or something on how to set it up... Mine was very similar.. Good luck with the project... you'll get some awesome pictures:)
