Timothy Leary, once labeled 'the most dangerous man in America' by President Richard Nixon, was a Harvard Professor, an advocate of LSD and Marijuana (in a spiritual sense) and devised a model for the 'eight levels of consciousness'. He ran against Ronald Regan for Governor of California, the campaign for which John Lennon wrote 'Come Together', he coined the phrase 'Turn on, tune in, drop out', was godfather to Winona Ryder and was closely associated with stars such as Johnny Depp, Susan Sarandon & Dan Aykroyd.
The Six Wives of Timothy Leary is a new play opening at London's Riverside Studios, Hammersmith, (from June 3 - June 26), before transferring to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe '08.
Here, the characters of his six wives talk about who Timothy Leary was.
