@iammultiman Agreed, along with other reasons. I won't go in to detail, but I really don't think that was target fixation.

that is not target fixation. He tried to use the right and realized the fallen rider was there. It was too late to use the left

This should be posted everywhere all the time. It's counter-intuitive to look away from the danger, not at it.
