A prime example of target fixation. The second rider actually steers INTO the crashed bike and crashes himself. LEARN FROM THIS, people. Always look WHERE YOU WANT TO GO. Ride safe! Presented for educational purposes only.

  • absolute target fixation he hit the bike dead on without an attempt to turn

  • @iammultiman Agreed, along with other reasons. I won't go in to detail, but I really don't think that was target fixation.

  • @iammultiman it's target fixation.. he had low speed and still he didn't avoid it, because he fixated on it. There was room on the right and left after he passed the rider.

  • that is not target fixation. He tried to use the right and realized the fallen rider was there. It was too late to use the left

  • This should be posted everywhere all the time. It's counter-intuitive to look away from the danger, not at it.
