I first heard this cut on the old Jackson 5 cartoon back in the days.
"Petals" is from J5's "Maybe Tomorrow" lp from '71 and is one of my personal favorite J5 cuts.
I know theres a lot of controversy surrounding Mike and I'm not gettin' into all of that.
This is just my lttle dedication to Michael Jackson done MY way........

This song has been playing in my head a lot, for about a month now. I've always loved this jam, i fondly remember playing "Maybe Tomorrow","She's Good","Never Can Say Goodbye","Petals" & "The Wall" all in sucession and loving it.

This song was, and still is, a VERY difficult & complicated arrangement; when you listen to the harmonizing, the fast tempo, the accompaniment, I still wonder how many takes it took before they got it right!
