On the eve of the 2008 G8 Summit, thousands took to the streets of Sapporo, Japan, today to call for an end to the undemocratic policy-making and wars of G8 member states. The protest, which was a coalition effort of NGOs, trade unions, leftist organizations, anti-authoritarian organizers, and independent activists, culminated in the arrest of three protesters and a Reuters photographer. This is the footage of the assault on the sound truck driver, before the wave of arrests.
I wonder what the cop gave that guy in the ski mask at 1:00

the police are the ones rioting here. the demonstration was peaceful and people have a right to voice their opinions over issues that the politicians aren't addressing.

You can't challenge the G8.
Look at the leaders you're protesting against; Bush, Harper, Merkel, Sarkozy, Fukuda. All these people were democratically elected leaders.
Let me repeat that.
THEY WERE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED BY THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE!
How do you intend to get the people on your side when you riot against the leaders and governments that they themselves elected?
