Good observation;) Back then I didn't payed too much attention in which position the chords were played, but funny that you comment on this video just now, because we're working on a full band collaboration of this song with much better audio. For the collab I've doubled the guitar: one played from the bottom of the neck and one like in this video. Makes the sound much fuller. We hope to have it online next weekend.

I propose you cover some Buzzcocks songs, like ever fallen in love, and Adverts one chord wonders for instance. But like you said: there's still so much great rock'n roll out there!
