blue-ray isnt better visually. not really. It's better sound quality that's all. hdmi, blue-ray,Del tv and 7.1 surround sound is paradise.

Yeah I agree. Blu ray is good if you have the right player and sound system. The PS3 blu ray sucks compared to the Pioneer Elite blu ray player.

"Sucks?"

A little extreme, don't you think? So the Pioneer does some little thing that the PS3 doesn't, and the PS3 "sucks" by comparison? It's regarded as one of the BEST players. The only significant limitation (not working with Infrared universal remotes) can be worked around if you desire. The Pioneer Elite is priced to make you *think* that all other players must "suck."
