Castlevania III: Hard Mode, No Damage, Sypha Only (1)

Block 1: Warakiya Village
This went easier than I thought. Didn't require many tries. Some luck in that screen with those floating skull heads, otherwise no panic at all.

Thoughts before second stage (Mad Forest):
This one shouldn't cause much more trouble than first stage even if it's pretty long level. Luckily it's the first screen that is the most difficult in this stage, thanks to floating skulls again. You can get Thunder magic quite early in this stage and it will make things a lot easier. You can't possibly fail in Cyclops boss.

When I first started Hard mode and saw the floating skulls, I remembered the tower with the stairs and the bonepillars and the medusa heads... and realized the medusa heads would probably be replaced by the skulls, and then I quit right then and there.

@DoomWagonOfDeath Ah, the clock tower is so unfair in hard mode. Super tough to even beat. Perfecting it... No, just no.

Great pick for a game, could never get enough of Castlevania 3 when I was young. Still remember most of the paths by heart. Always hated the path that went through the ghost ship.

@Rhihadd Then we have something in common. I also played this A LOT as a kid and hated the ghost ship back then. Don't hate it that much anymore though.
