In this video press release, Assembly members John J. Burzichelli (D-Gloucester), Linda R. Greenstein (D-Middlesex), Wayne P. DeAngelo (D-Mercer), Louis D. Greenwald (D-Camden) and Joseph Cryan (D-Union) discuss the Assembly passage of their five-bill package to further bolster the state's economy in the face of the ongoing global financial crisis.

The measures would impose new requirements on foreclosure rescue firms (A-281), promote energy efficiency through the installation of solar panels in new homes (A-1558), reform mortgage lending activities (A-3816), create a temporary tax amnesty program allowing individuals who owe the state back taxes to pay without civil or criminal penalties (A-3819) and allow local governments to defer some of this fiscal year's pension payments to avoid either large property tax increases or cuts in essential services (A-3868).
