All weapons can be horrific when enhanced enough.

@livedandletdie They can, but some are easier to enhance than others. We have other games to play, other things to do. Why waste time when you can do it faster?

Strategies of Timald (1D50) is the most powerful mage weapon, because it can be built up to 2D50, 3D50, etc. using oil of enchantment. Before I had the alchemy skill to craft that potion, I used "Guidebook", which is 3D12.

The first decent bow is "Unstoppable", which I think is 2D10, and has a high Piercing buff (+25 I think).

There are some melee weapons like Bowel Emptier and Repear (sic) on level 25 of the mystery dungeon that I've never tried because of my low Weapon Attack skill.

hey! i'm an archer and i crafted a good weapon "fargo's Farslayer" and i have 10d4!

@FlareShift I've crafted an axe called dwarven protector and I have 30D20. On a bad swing I do 90 damage.

I found that the higher levels of bows have weak 'special' abilities as opposed to the more useful combat abilities like hit chance, damage and critical. Combat and magic weapons also have higher dice damage, so when you use oil of enhancement to enhance the number of dice they are enhanced more.

I'm an archer and i got "Less simple bow", probably the best one in the game. So far i made it 37D12 (from 5D12) and fighting with Ancient Titans (mystery lvl 25) is piece of cake
