Actually, Neil Young has one of the select few recognizeable voices in rock music. Even now in his 60's, his voice still is very unique. At least he doesn't have 1000 digital effects on his voice.

Neil isn't the best singer, but i couldn't give too shiny fresh turds, because his depth and soul is unimagnable, I mean "It's better to burn out than to fade away" Brilliance.

If Neil didn't sing like he does he wouldn't be Neil Young. If you want to talk about good singers try going to the Metropolitan Opera.
Regardless, this is timeless music and songwriting that will be around for centuries.
