The "Dryer " should be much lower near the floor in humid areas to drain better. Otherwise the water will collect in your hose and tools ( it has to "cool" the air before it reaches the hose end). Your setup is great though for desert areas or areas with low humidty. Believe me, I found out the hard way trying to paint a car in Puerto Rico.

Ok Thanks again for the video. I should be getting mine this weekend.

@Rodzss I pieced together all the parts and fittings from Harbor Freight. I don't have the part numbers but buy it in store or online. That's a great place if you are on a budget (like me). It's been couple months and no leaks and seems to be working fine.

I am purchasing the same compressor, would you please give me the part numbers to the splitter, dryer, regulator, and valve. Really like the set up thanks for posting.
I'm looking at buying the same compressor, but mainly because of the 78db sound level its supposedly makes. I live in a condo complex and the Harbor Freight compressor I have does not cut the bill. It shakes my entire garage and I don't want to piss off the people who live above my garage. Can you tell me how the sound level is? How does it compare to your old compressor (could you do a comparison video? :) ) ? Is it quiet (can you have a conversation easily without yelling) ? Thanks!

@kmaddock I can definitely do a video or do some measurement on the noise level of the compressor. However you need to give me til next week cause I am sick as a dog this week.

@kmaddock Sorry for the delay but finally had some time to make the video on the compressor sound level. You can go to my channel and find the video or try doing a search for 'Dewalt D55168 Air Compressor Sound Level - Part 3'.
