Released on the 1967 album, "Single Girl". Sandy's version of the '50's Johnny Mathis hit, which itself was adapted from the old English folk song, "I Gave My Love A Cherry" (also known as "The Riddle Song").

  • such a sweet voice

  • @mystery10man My kids at one time new all the words to the "Single Girl" LP. Even know if they hear a Sandy Posey song they remember it straight away. Happy memories

  • Cliff ? in *65 ? maybe I'm mistaken

  • the song is nice....somebody's coocking some popcorn?

  • Thank you for sharing this nice version. The song is a favorite of mine since more than 3 decades ago. I have not found on YouTube a version similar to what I had first heard, which is probably some version in between Elvis and Donny Osmond.

  • How sexy she looks. she did not have to be half clothe like todays artist
