  • Years back I had done something similar with an ADXL202EB, 2-axis accelerometer. But I was using it as an inclinometer. Are you using 3, 3-axis accelerometers with one at each corner of the plane?

  • I'm using only one 3-axis accelerometer (ADXL330) and it's working as an inclinometer too.

Device mesure angle between ship and Earth plane. (It can't mesure points of the compass)

  • hi, i was wondering if you could telm me what is the hardware you are using... i mean your DAQ adcquisition system and the integrades also... thanks.

  • Gyroscopes should works a litte bit better in this case - you shouldn't got such problem as I had when the ship turns upside down. Delay become from algorithm which averaging one thousand of samples. I was testing relation between numbers of averaged samples and accuracy. Now its working much faster (about 100 samples are averaging) and that delay is invisible.

  • That's very good question - Device works properly only for angles between -PI/2 and PI/2 (as showed on secound movie) but that problem will be solved soon.

  • BRAWO !!!
