  • i think this video is the only reason human beings exist.

  • Wow...guess I'd better never delete it, or we'll cease to exist. Or are you saying that it's OK now for human beings to cease to exist, now that I've made this video and we've fulfilled our purpose?

  • Liking the sound. I agreew with you on subtlety of drums. Live I think no drums workds better however if you were recording it would work better (reducing the sound of the drums in the mix). good song :) and great players

  • Yes, great players—I've known and played with these guys for decades—even went to high school with a couple of them. Another thing I thought of after I replied to 09m was those clear acrylic drum kit enclosures. They were once popular with New Wave bands who wanted "punk" drumming behind popish songs, but needed to keep the drums lower in the mix. Don't see them much anymore, probably because electronic drums have replaced them. They might enable a full drum kit in a group like this.

  • Very cool sound. but it would sound much better with drums

  • Well, maybe, but it would have to be a subtle, sensitive drummer, probably using brushes, to not cover up too much in an acoustic group like this. Have you ever heard any recordings of Django Rheinhardt's Quintette of the Hot Club of France, Mike? His battery of rhythm guitar players drove the beat and added percussive effects as well as any drummer, without getting in the way of the acoustic string instruments.

  • well, if human beings ceased to exist now, they wouldn't ever get to experience this video. so I think this video is more the reason why we are here. definitely don't ever delete it because thing about it is how nonchalant you guys look.

  • Wonderful!!!!
