Part 1 of 4. "Doug" is a live action musical stage show version of the cartoon show at Walt Disney World MGM Studios. The cartoon characters played by live performers. Includes Douglas Yancey "Doug" Funnie, Roger Klotz, Patti Mayonnaise,Porkchop, and many more.
It is noted that even though the title in the video is dated March 21, 2001, it mor than likely was taped on the 19th, or 20th of March. In the future I will just call it the 20thof March. Also, some portion may be out of sync due to an oversight in conversion to You Tube format. A corrected version will eventually be posted on DisneyTube at mytakeondisney.com . Please excuse this for know. Thank You.

  • funny

  • The sound and video are way off synch. It shows them jumping out of journal before he even says "surprised me"

  • i almost cried when I saw this...it stinks knowing the children of the future will never have the great childhood we gen x/y kids had. Hence my plan to trick my kids into only playing them all the stuff I salvaged. Good plan right?

  • Is it just me, or is this kinda off-synch?

  • I am posting this comment exactly 10 years from this date this video ws taken O___o

  • 10 years since this, wow, time really fly!

  • Omg I saw this live, thanks for uploading it. Brings back memories

  • I know this isn't a movie, but can we say that this predates M. Night Shamalan's "The Last Airbender" as the first live-action adaptation of a Nicktoon?

Also, is it just me, or does this show's version of Roger look more like his Nickelodeon design?

  • His middle name was "Yancey"? lol!
