But why EU with obama in office their are plenty US soldier that can to the DRC

Boy, please i think everyone has had it with your "AMERICA!!FUCK YEAH!!". Countries like Nigeria, Canada, India have recorded FAR more victories in peace-enforcemnt missions, but you don't see them boast of it. The US, on the other, has made a mess in its own missions (Iraq rings a bell to you?).So please, just STFU.

USA can't babysit all Islamic extremist

The journalist has misunderstood why a EU intervention force is needed. It is not because the UN peacekeeping rules of engagement is inadequate for the mission. If this is actually the case, then it would be easy enough to just make the UN peacekeeping mission's rules of engagement more forceful. The real reason why an EU intervention force was considered was because certain countries in the UN cannot accept a more forceful UN peacekeeping mission mandate.

By the way, a suicide bomber just killed dozens of people in Iraq today. So.....what were you saying about the US being a good peacekeeper?
-
Good one Obobmar, you made me laugh.
Thanks!

Good question.
I think Lenin's comment about the league of nations being a "den of thieves" is suitable for the U.N. also.

its peaceful, Hussain was a terrorist
I totally agree. For example, there has never been a better time to stroll along the banks of the Tigris with that special someone, simply soaking in the peace.
"Hey, is that an IED explosion I just heard". No, it's the sound of peace, bumping its rythm in your heart.
