This past weekend we had over 50 centimeters of snowfall. This was the scene as I let my two Newfoundland dogs out early this morning. The fence in the background is a 5 foot fence but appears to be only about 6 inches. THAT is how much snow has accumulated this winter.
your newf is cuter than mine.

I had a Newfy in Alaska. We moved to Missouri and he did fine. Bubba died at 12 yo. We now have Maggie Mae(3 yo Newfy). In the summertime there is a childs plastic pool w/ water for her.I installed a doggie door so she can go in and out as she pleases. Maggie pretty much has the run of the house. As with most giant breeds, the biggest problem is that they always lay where you want to walk.
It is really funny to watch Maggie and Buddy, the chihuahua next door play. together.

@rocketbul1225 i know people with newfies by L.A. so yesish…..i think so its just a matter of making sure they dont get too hot, lots of water, a place to swim and a shave are recommend. ( shaving them with make them less likely to have heatstroke if there not in the sun all the time but direct sunlight is bad if you have shaved them) just start talking to a good breeder and they will know if you can handle a newf in the heat

Lovely. I guess Bella is in charge of the Landseer. Seems to take it in her stride.
