Metroid Remix: Winged Warmaker

This is an electronic remix of Kenji Yamamoto's Ridley boss theme from the Metroid video game series.
The mix includes a dark, ambient prelude which leads into a swift, heavy bass section containing the familiar theme pattern of Ridley.

This was composed entirely on Garageband by myself.
An edited clip from a Metroid: Zero Mission sound file was used to include Ridley's signature roar from that game.

This mix also commemorates my 100th upload.

@DarkBlazeLeggendaxu Yeah, I agree. When I made this, my inexperience coupled with Garageband's limitations inhibited the intensity I had in mind for the latter portion of the song. The intro was my favorite part. If I do a Ridley mix again, it will be bombastic.

I feel like this is fitting for a scene in which you see Ridley flying around in the distance, or for the last few rooms leading up to a major fight with him. I, like most people, don't really see this as appropriate for the actual boss fight, but it is important to have intro themes as well, and this works very well in that regard.

@Balyr I'd use this for a montage as opposed to an actual boss fight, personally. I've always wanted to, and am going to make a very appropriate boss remix of this theme when I become capable enough to do it. I promise. :)

You walk onto a pavilion with the knowledge that ridley is somewhere in the area. As soon as you step foot within, the gate is suddenly blown apart, sealing you in the pavilion with no safe route to escape by. As you search the pavilion, you sense a menacing presence nearby, a pair of eyes high above the gate that was recently closed, a stare you know well and have come to fear. The second your wandering eyes catch its glimps, the monster dives to you, starting a battle that will be remembered.
