I cannot begin to imagine how you can live in one of the richest countries in the world (America) and yet have to pay incredibly insane medical bills. One of my American chat buddies at 17, wasn't insured when he broke his ankle and he's now 70,000 dollars in debt. What the hell??? Now that is not 'freedom' in my opinion
It ridicules how we built staggering debt ignoring basic rules any idiot can grasp. Re "necessities" - you prove the point. Fast food, Starbucks, etc. on credit cards stacks up debt fast- and using credit cards for groceries when you don't have the money is path to disaster!
Yes, most need a car loan. But most also pay too much monthly for cars they can't afford. My Chinese college roomate never saw why Americans get car loans - in her culture you save & pay all cash!
It ridicules how we've built staggering debt by not using a basic principle any idiot should be able to grasp.
Re "food" & "cars" ... no offense but you prove the point. NEVER use CREDIT to buy food. Pay off your credit cards - use CASH!
Most will need car loans. But most pay big payments on car they can't afford. My Chinese college roomate never saw why Americans borrow to buy cars - in her culture, you save until you can pay for the car outright! Seems extreme to us, but pretty smart.
lol. This is generally good advice but...what if people don't have enough money for honest necessities...like food or a house. But ya, don't go by those Gucci shoes if you don't have the cash for it.

This is a decent video, considering it is a total remake of a Saturday Night Live skit.
