He reminds me of venom in spiderman

The resemblance is uncanny, isn't it? He looks closest to the "Ultimate Spider-man" version of Venom—with the bulky physique and hunched-over posture. I'm wondering if they drew inspiration from him. They are both anti-characters after all.
