Phantom of the Opera Meg's Song

My first MegxErik couple video :D Yay for me!

Yeah, most of this video is in black and white, but when you've only got Windows Movie Maker to work with, you don't really have a lot of options. But I think it gives it that creepy eery kind of look, you know?

Story:
okay, this video takes place at different times during the movie. Meg is Erik's closest (and only) friend, but what he doesn't know is that while he's off trying to win Christine, Meg has fallen in love with him. He, of course, doesn't notice at all, so he goes on with wanting Christine.

At the beginning, Meg knows about the plot to kill Erik. But when she tries to warn him and get him to escape, he doesn't believe her. Despite her need to protect him, Meg wants to have the life Christine has. She wants to have fun and enjoy herself, but she can't because her whole mind is wrapped around Erik and wanting to protect him.

After seeing Christine with Raoul on the roof, Erik hides away in his lair, where Meg comes to consol him. He looks up at her and says "I still love her,"

(Spoilers:)

Suddenly, we realize this is Meg thinking back. The rest of the movie plays as it normally would, except at the end when Erik finally has Christine, he can't stop thinking about Meg. He thinks about when he first saw her as a person and not just Mme. Giry's daughter, when they first met, and when she comes to console him even after he yells at her.

Realizing right then that he's turned away the only person who could ever really love him, Erik escapes the opera house while Christine unties Raoul. He thinks Meg hates him, and he doesn't want to stay and hurt her anymore. But when Meg goes to Christine's dressing room to get consolation after she finds out Erik loved her afterall, she finds a single red rose tied with a black ribbon.

Erik is still watching over her...

I hope you like the video :D It was actually pretty fun to do, and I'm proud of it! My first actual "story" music video too! So yay me!
A lot of editing went into getting some scenes with Erik and Meg together in them, but hey, most of them turned out okay, right?

do you know that this author Sadie Montgomery wrote a book called "The Phoenix of the Opera" and it is about meg and Erik get together, there are about 4 other books in the series, I have not read them yet but I have heard they were good.
