We now have a new Tropical Storm named Gaston with winds of 40 mph and moving off to the West at 15 mph. This storm is forecast to become a Hurricane on Sunday at 2 p.m. More on Earl and Gaston go to www.HurricaneCities.com .
I believe this will become a lot bigger when it hits the hot waters of the caribbean, Earl exprienced the same thing, it was Category 1 and then when it got closer 2, as it passed Puerto Rico it became category 3 So, the area of Puerto Rico and the Antilles can make it an even worse storm. Right now it has an 80% to be a tropical storm.
I am departing for a cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau on the 20th. I don't anticipate Hurricane Gaston being a problem by then but we may experience some after effects.
No one has winds like Gaston!

hello Ismith970, I think the 2PM Sun and 2PM Mon don't fit the trend line as the others... maybe this storm will go further north like Earl?
