  • Do you understand how a dyno-dynamics Dyno works? Different to the Dynojet ones

All readings on these are lower final numbers than a dynojet dyno...

Google search this phrase: dyno dynamics vs dynojet

  • Regardless of what dyno you use, no tlr should be running 110bhp at the rear wheel, dynojet is the industry standard, and even a healthy bog standard models should be puling 123-126bhp at the rear wheel, one with end cans or full exhaust should be pulling 130-135bhp, and more with mods, such as a TRE, power commander 3, airbox mods, easily 140+at the rear wheel. your is well down on power, and doesnt sound healthy, unless poor video sound.

  • Put it in perspective with EVERY other dyno run posted... The 07 R1 *should* on a dynojet pull 194 RWHP, but it doesn't... It's all relative mate... And it depends on who you speak to as to which dyno is industry standard... If you want tuning link to do all the work, and get a good, average tune, sure fire away, use a dynojet... If you want something special, manual map it using a dyno-dynamics one... My R1 pulls 194rwhp on the dynojet dyno, but 155 on the dyno dynamics one...

post your dyno results somewhere proving this statement, please. My 99 with a TRE, bolt on yosh TRS's and a BMC filter put down 117 with a flash from a TEKA box as well. Guy running the dyno said its the strongest TLR he has seen with so little done.

  • Yeah your bike should be pulling 130-35 at the rear wheel 150 at the crank, so suggest you get a powercommander 3 and some dyno sessions, also check the valve clearences, as it doesnt sound that healthy

  • 110? seems real low considering a tls puts out more and an sv puts out onlt a lil less
