Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 (Singapore)

This is a recording using Microsoft's LifeCam VX-1000. Bought it bundled with Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 for SGD$69 from the recent IT Show at Suntec here in Singapore.

(You'd probably notice there is no sound because somehow my built in LifeCam's mic is not picking up my voice. I'm not too concern about voice quality either because I can always plug in an external mic to my soundcard.)

I am comparing it to Logitech QuickCAM IM in the video I did a while ago.

Both videos are recorded directly from Youtube's Quick Capture.

I use the LifeCam with Windows Live Messenger (8.1 something).

I'm not interested in the bundled software.

Both cameras uses the latest drivers downloaded from respective websites, and are at default settings + low light settings.

Personally, after using the LifeCam, I think it is the better of the two webcams straight out of the box for MSN Messenger.

The VX-1000 isn't good because it's got a VGA resolution.

mine is alot better than this even though its the same vx-1000

how do you get the sound to work? i have the same one, but i cant hear ANYTHING
