Winter Song ~ Kairi/Sora, Aqua/Terra

*SPOILERS*
Serious spoiler warning here, folks; if you have NOT yet finished Aqua's story and the Final Episode in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and don't wish to have the ending spoiled for you in any way, then DON'T watch this video. Or read much more of this description, for that matter.
I'll understand, really. Just be sure to remember to come back here after you've finished Final Episode. ;)

And before I get a DOZEN comments on it, the lyric is "Is love ALIVE?" not "Is love a lie?". This ain't no emo/angsty song. xP

Alright, now that that's out of the way...

Hiya! :D

I do most of the explaining in the credits, but here's what you need to know going in:
This video's about Kairi and Sora, and Aqua and Terra, and how even across time, they are connected in one thing: Their love for their boys who have gone far away. And that while left alone, they question whether things will be the same for them ever again. Will their love survive through it all?

You may be able to tell which pairing in Birth by Sleep won out for me in the end. ;D
I lovelovelove Terra/Aqua now. Or, more correctly, Aqua/Terra. ;P They are the BEST hetero pairing in the whole Kingdom Hearts series, in my opinion. And I'm happy that this ended up being my first Aqua/Terra vid.
I tried to add some depth to my clip selections, to fit the canon storyline and my KH interpretation of the song.

A couple parts that may need clarification:
1:17 - 1:27
Referencing the legend that Kairi's grandmother tells the 4-year-old Kairi, Aqua fears that Terra is drifting further and further away from her, into the darkness, but at the same time, trusts that the light within him will still shine, and prove to be stronger.
3:43 - 3:55
Sora is more-or-less speaking for Terra here; if there's one thing that I think Terra would have said to Aqua, if he'd had the chance, it would have been: "I'm sorry. For letting you down; for going astray; for letting the darkness take over me." And if/when they do reunite, I *know* that Aqua will forgive him, just like Kairi forgave Sora for being away so long.

The rest should be easy enough to get, if you've played through the game or are familiar with the storyline. :)
(or if the clip selection makes it obvious ^^')

Oh, and I toggled the brightness on the KH1 ending clips, so if it looks too bright on your computer, blame me. ._.' I did it so it would look good on just about all computer monitors. I remember that those clips on my old computer, the one I started making AMVs on, looked pretty dark on the monitor. :/

@MSAnemanja2 Nothing, really. One of the characters in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Terra, just happens to have the same name as a female character from FFVI. I apologize for this video coming up in your search in error; maybe next time including the words "final fantasy" in your search would help keep this from happening again.

D'aww, yeah, I tend to find hugging/cuddling scenes or pictures cuter, too. I think it brings across a sense of not only affection, but sometimes of comforting and empathy, too. It's a sweet thing to see. :)

It pretty much is, yeah. xD Heterosexual = Attracted to the opposite sex. Homosexual = Attracted to the same sex. Bisexual = Attracted to both.

@thenarutoguy100 No problem, misinterpretations/different interpretations happen. There ARE people out there who support the Ven/Aqua pairing, I just don't happen to be one of them. A LOT of this stuff's all a matter of opinion anyway, so it's not really worth a fight or feeling bad over. 's cool. ^^

Cool! :D My best friend introduced me to this song in 2009; I wasn't really feeling it at first, but when I listened to it again late last year, and something similar to THIS VIDEO played out in my mind, I couldn't help but love it. It IS a good song. And I like Ingrid Michaelson quite a bit, too. ^^
