NEW MODEL StormAngler 16 ft 6.

This model is a copy of a very popular west of Scotland clinker built boat Proven ,Tried and tested off the west coast of Isla for the last 20 years. she does 14 knots fitted with a 15 hp outboard, and can return 10 miles per gallon.
Very tough, stable with minimal maintenance.

I'd buy this boat. Any idea how she would perform with a 4 stroke 6hp engine? Knots and mpg?

We have had her with a 4 hp two stroke ans she was doing 6 knots.

Also with a 9.9 hp she does 11 knots

and approx10 -12 miles per gallon.

my gues with a 6 hp 8 knots.

Plus, with the optional steering station, she looks so cool. 15hp. Proof you don't need a big v6 to have fun. 14 knots is good speed, and I'll cruise at 10-11 knots.

Thnx for the heads up. She is a neat , sturdy looking boat, and she would look good here in the Caribbean.
