CRS Ready to Respond to Devastation in Japan

Catholic Relief Services personnel throughout the Pacific are standing ready to assist those affected by the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11th.

Our partner, Caritas Japan is assessing the needs where the tsunami has caused extensive damage. CRS has programs in the Philippines and Indonesia and works with partners in numerous islands in the Pacific that might be affected. Central American countries where CRS works could also be in danger.
