This theme song was written for King Features in the 1960s and placed over the original 1940s music from the Blondie movie series for tv syndication. The Fan site of the series is at http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/rainbowcountry/blondie.html

  • to get the series on dvd google "Blondie The Movie Series"

  • Any idea who's singing the theme song? It definitely sounds like it could be Singleton & Lake themselves, especially when the guy does the Dagwood laugh near the end of the song

  • No fans that is not Penny or Arthur singing...

  • That makes sense because it just does not sound like it was written in 1938, its the theme I grew up with and I LOVE IT!!!

  • I heard the themes song was sung in 1966 the original run's didn't have a theme song it was done for the benifit of syndication.

  • In the cartoon why does Mr. Beasley look so much like Herb?
