Ok..I just got the DVD series. I grew up on this show!

AND This is why Gil Gerard ROCKED!!!

I love the "bit-o-reality" in THIS Sci-Fi series!

...And you know..the acting on the show was pretty good..considering its tongue-in-cheek antics!

This proves it!

Actually, there is a Funk & Wagnalls company that edits the standard English Dictionary. He may have been saying "Funk & Wagnalls" as a defining term.

  • I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY! years ago I saw this episode and shouted to everyone in the house that Buck Rogers just said the F word. Later on in the week, a TV show that aired some questions about the weeks TV shows, brought this F word into question and the presenter (Anne Robinson) cleared it up, "What Buck Rogers actually said was, Funk and Wagnels, which is reference to a training manual".

Wow that was awesome to see again :)

  • @GUTSRacing Season 1 - episode 2 and 3 - Planet of the Slave Girls

  • He said:

    "Funk & Wagnels".

  • Netflix has this on" watch insantly" list.

  • what episode is this from in what season? I'm way unfamiliar with buck rogers, but i need to see more of this episode for a project i'm thinking of doing.

  • There is no N enunciated in FUNK and no D in and. You figure it out. Great Fu n king clip!

  • Now that was a riot! I dont remember that scene(as a teen of the 80's), but that was great! Many thanks for posting!!

  • Ha ha, remember this being featured on BBC's "Points of View" program back in the 90's, as someone thought Buck ws using less than appropriate language at 6pm or something!
