when i mean good/best tank, i mean the tank and not the number of produced units..

the design of the t-34 was good but, the technique from the t-34 realy bad.

the turret was still turned by hand.

@Gianni7381 it was underpowered and overweight. the engine was good for aircraft not for tanks and the transmission was far too weak for the weight of the tank which is why they used to fail with stripped drive teeth all the time plus the overlapping road wheels needed to be constantly cleared of trapped debris

It was a good design but if the transmission had been beefed up and a high torque deisel engine fitted instead of the flimsy aero engine, things might have been a little different

The Panther's natural diet included Shermans and T-34's, and could kill its prey from a good 2km away. :) And fleeing Frenchmen.
