When our church was just a local congregation we had a yearly open house at Christmas. We hosted a Christmas dinner for as many as two hundred people. We never wanted people to be lonely during Christmas. My wife did everything she could to make Christmas meaningful for everyone around us.
Since most of our church is now our CyberChurch Family we are unable to have the tens of thousands of you personally into our home. But we have received so many requests from those who wanted to see Brenda's decorations that we shot this video to share with you.
But this is more than just a video of our Christmas decorations. This shows how hard Brenda worked to help pull me out of years of holiday depression. Plus, this is just a small reflection of the effort she has put into making great memories for our children and grandchildren. Even in the early days when we were nearly penniless she put this much effort into making Christmas great. When we barely had food for our own family she always prepared Christmas dinner for singles, divorcees and widows. She helped me find the true Christmas Spirit, and Jesus made me able to enjoy the season.
WOW!!! Wow! Wow! THANK YOU! Thank you both so much!! Thank you Jim for the fellowship of your suffering, thank you Brenda for the enormousness of your heart's generosity! You let the whole world into your bedroom!! That's big. Thank you.

Thank you Jim and Brenda. Christmas greetings from Australia, where Christmas eve is tipped to be 97degrees F.
Heb.6: 10For God is not unrighteous to forget or overlook your labor and the love which you have shown for His name's sake in ministering to the needs of the saints (His own consecrated people), as you still do.

I really appreciate your concern for those who are lonely at Christmas. It is a difficult time for me, as the church I attended did not include me or my son at Christmas. I focus strongly on WHY we are celebrating, and it is profound. Still, I almost always feel alone at Christmas, as I think of all the families gathering together.
