Back to Back Steelhead

It was my pleasure to fish with Brian Niska, Rob Vodola and Shawn McDaniel. Their goal was to catch Chinook (King) Salmon with their spey fly rods on the Kalum River and Steelhead as by-catch. Fishing for Chinook was slow but they managed to hook a few Steelhead!

Brian Niska is the president of Whistler Fly Fishing. They operate a fish guiding service, fly fishing school and specialty fly shop in Whistler BC Canada. Their website is www.whistlerflyfishing.com. Check it out sometime.
