There are many different ways of diagnosing vascular problems. From my own experience I had a blocked peripheral artery that was clearly indicated on an ultrasound image but didn't appear in a MRI or an angiogram, which my vascular surgeon said was the gold standard- even he was surprised at the findings. Don't give up, from my own experience over the years I've discovered sometimes doctors don't get it.
Maria me too! Had the old persons Doppler they said my veins looked ok! CRAP my husband said they just didn't follow the right protocol it has to be the RIGHT protocol! Long time no talk.. Violet.. :)
Hi, Maria, my English is not very good so I apologise.
I was on MR yesterday and I show the dr.Zamboni study to the radiologist. She said that they have not the proper protocol on the MR machine to diagnose anything about veins. So I must stay patient and wait. I think that your doctor also dont know what he is looking for.
Hi Maria, you look so disappointed :( - so am I. I guess we are all hoping there is something to this and we want to see results now. It's good to know that there are people seriously looking into this. Thanks for putting yourself 'out there' for all of us. Happy New Year! Kerrixo
Definitly my relapse have always been after a prolonged strees. An the exacerbation of my symptoms go hand to hand with strees. Two time that I thougth I was having a relapse (we can say when we are having one, we feeel it!) the MRI's where negatives. But the common denominator for both was a lot of stress.

Don't give up hope. It sounds like the test wasn't a thural enough one. Maybe a complete MRI of the nervous system would be better?
