大人の科学 Vol.25 Gakkenflex(GKF)
My way of doing it is just skip to step 3 from the manual first. By doing so you have better chance of avoiding damage and/or using the wrong spring. Then just follow the original order from the manual, but in step 5 I have another method of doing it. It will make the assembly easier, just watch the video :)

  • hi! i'm having trouble with my shutter as well. i think it's the spring for the "blade pusher" that's the problem. the end of the spring should be against the partition board, right? well mine is pointing downwards when i put the "blade pusher" in place. do you think this could be a product defect? :(

  • @camsywamsyify have you rotate "blade pusher" counterclockwise while you put it in place?

  • @moraguna Yes, yes! :) I was finally able to figure out the need to rotate it! I didn't quite understand the graphics in the manual. Oh well, at least I've finished assembling my Recesky! :) Thanks for your video!

I have another problem, though. The counter doesn't turn along with the advance knob. Upon inspection, I noticed the sprockets do not attach well to the gear inside. I'm thinking of not using the counter anymore and just estimating how much I'll turn the knob to advance to one frame.

  • @camsywamsyify did you put the film in yet? because without film the counter won't turn while you advance the knob. If you really want to check the counter you can rotate the gear inside to see the movement of the counter.

  • Hi, i would like to ask, if its the smaller circle spring for the first part of the of hooking the shutter open and close and then the bigger circle spring for the second part?

  • @cocochen10 that's right, the spring with bigger circle is for the shutter release

  • Thank you. With your video I could finally figure out that I had to rotate the "blade pusher" thing to "wind up" the spring correctly against the divider.

  • I built mine today but the view finder screen was transparent they didn't give me the one that its suppose to be. I see the mirror and the lens when I look down but it is suppose to be blurry opaque please help!

  • @moraguna Thanks so much! This part left me scratching my head all night.

  • @moraguna okkkk. went around with the spring and bought a new one. DONE! :) ready to shoot!

    Thanks. :)
