Ever wonder about the tiny little bugs you occasionally find in or around your home? This video goes over some information about some of the lesser known insect orders. At the end some pictures of each insect are seen. Try to guess which order it belongs to before the answer is revealed.

  • Thank you for your comment on our video. As we are not entomologists, we tried to identify pictures of insects that we found on the web using available resources. As classifications change and new information is discovered it is possible we used an old guide to ID this insect.

If there are any entomologists out there who can help clarify svr242's comment, it would be appreciated.

  • Sorry! I thought svr242 was refering to the photo presenting the Thysanura. The first photo from the Quizz is really an Ephemeroptera larvae, as svr242 said.

  • I cannot consider myself an entomologist although I everyday face many meso and microarthropods which I have to identify at least to the order level. Contrary to what svr242 said, I would without doubt consider that little thing a Thysanura... I cannot see how it can be an Ephemeroptera. But then, it is just my opinion...

  • a very interesting video

  • hahaha :D first picture is not Thysanura - it's Ephemeroptera larva!!! ))))
