Hi, thanks for this great tutorial. Can you help me out? For some reason my cube layer becomes disabled (red cross instead of green tick) when I add the Thrausi to the cube, although I can still see the cube and it does explode, but the Tracer has no effect unless I enable the cube, but when I do that the cube no longer explodes apart, it just stays whole and rotates through the air with trails. Any ideas on how I can make it work properly? Cheers. Cool effect by the way!

@1simonmatthews Thanks. Enable green tick. Go to Collision tab and set Individual Elements to all. Also I recommend you to check my free c4d preset "Smoke Trails 2".

@TheEdix Thanks, it worked a treat! Will definitely check out your Smoke Trails 2 preset and I'll give you another "like" too. One other thing, for some reason whenever I follow a C4D tutorial, mine always ends up a lot less realistic, but I follow the steps exactly. I haven't added a graphics card to my computer, was wondering if it was anything to do with that?

@1simonmatthews I don't think so. You just have to play with the right settings and optimize scenes. Every technical upgrade is plus both for speed and final look. Don't forget to color correct or just refine renders in After Effects/ different soft.. If you'll have a question or an idea for a tutorial, just mail me.
