A quick glimpse of the 2009 Polaris Outlaw 450 MXR. Sorry for the terrible footage, this was actually taken with a helmet camera. If you've never used one, it's very hard to tell what you're actually filming. If you have used them, you know what I mean!

@redRiderEx Yes, believe it or not the Polaris here, the KTM 450XC, and Kawasaki KFX450R all have reverse (the Suzuki LTR-450, Yamaha YFZ450 and Can-Am DS450 do not have this option). And you are right, none of them are all that cheap. However, check eBay, I think this bad boy goes for like $8,600 at the dealership, got it brand new from a dealer in Virginia for $5,400! There are deals like that on there all the time.

does it beat the 525 and does it do good in the dunes

The 525 has a bit more torque and comes in two configurations: straight axle and independent rear suspension. It would be the wiser choice for the wide open conditions of the dunes while the 450 seems to work a bit better on the tighter confines of a motocross track or GNCC style XC course. Hope this helps!

Depends on who you ask really. I sampled the new YFZ450R and it was really a great ride. Maybe even slightly better out of the box than this Polaris (KTM) 450. But once I slapped a pipe on this Polaris, the performance was right up there with the YFZ. I personally like the little touches Polaris includes (hydraulic clutch, steel braided brake lines, reverse) and so on. But you could honestlt go out and win races on either quad.

All im saying is that this quad for the price = u cant go wrong. Im getting one tomarrow 2010!! for 4935 out the door.. WTF OMG supoer cheap for a race with piggy back FOX shocks! KTM race engine Super nice tires! . SICK deal for a racer!!
