Sonic cast - reasons to compare (SONIC)

So here we are. Leaper's making a video about the voices of Sonic the hedgehog, YAAAAY! :D

In many comparisons of the 2 Sonic voices we get an unfair match as only the worst of Griffith is shown and even more, they compare it to the best of Ryan. A lot of people also hate Ryan's voice and prefer White. Some people think Sonic shouldn't even talk but that's besides the point. XD

What would be smart is to compare both of their worst lines to both of their best lines. This would be fair and I'm more than willing to play fair as I like Jaleel White, Ryan and Jason in each their own ways. I like Ryan a little more, but I think Jason's done better as even though I like Ryan more I can easily think of as many BAD traits about his voice acting as Ryan's, and as many good as well.

We'll upload a video soon of these examples. But for now, in this "reasons to compare) series (starting with Sonic) we're going to compare Jason Griffith to both Ryan Drummond and Jaleel White and show you not only does he do a good Sonic, but sounds like the various tones Ryan obtains as well as Jaleel. There's no way to compare Ryan to White unfortunately because they sound completely different and Griffith was the only one of the 3 to sound like the other 2 so that's why I made the vid this way, yeah. lol

Note that for Sonic particularly it's not just mixed like the rest will be, but it is Jason Griffith almost every other line. Every 2 lines will be Jason compared with the other VA of Sonic.

Drummond: Sonic Shuffle

Drummond: Sonic Adventure 2
Griffith: Sonic X Episode 3

Also all comments of opinions will be protected. If it is a negative comment at all it will not be protected, but if it is mere opinion based it will be protected from being negatively rated whether it's for/against White, Drummond, or Griffith. I bet there will still be idiocy and haters even after seeing this video.

That's correct. It was, in fact, RYAN Drummond who played the voice of Sonic.

oook they are way different. Iike my Satam voice the best. and the games along with Sonic X voices just don't cut it with me. i grew up with SATAM and i'm sticking with it.

huh? Didn't you run out of episodes about a decade ago at least? o.O Well all the Sonic's sound young and nasally like a young rocker so they're pretty much the same lol. (also, SatAM is the same voice as Underground and AoSth, but no offense, not that I've heard your SatAM voice, I'd still consider Jaleel's SatAM voice better than yours because it's professional ^^;)

I'm willing to bet you weren't meaning YOUR actual voice, but I'm playing on the fact that you don't own the series :)

since i played games like sonic adventure 1 and 2 and sonic shuffle and loved them. then watch adventures of sonic the hedgehog and sonic underground (never saw sat am unforntunatly) and i watched sonic x for a while and played the new games. i can tell them apart like that. other may not have been able to tell the difference but im not other people :P

I love Jason Griffith, he so awesome as Sonic, Shadow and Jet.

white makes him sound too young, and jason makes him sound kinda slow, but he's ok, both ryan and jason are good for sonic
